Before I Go

On the verge of death;
Right here on my death bed,
You finally come to visit;
To at least see me,
Before it’s all too late.

I finally see you the way I should,
I guess death is like that;
It makes you see the world,
In a whole different angle.

We talk as if for the past few years,
We’ve always been together;
As if nothing ever happened,
Between us in those years.

And I guess, nothing really did;
I just kept wishing,
And you just kept hoping,
To see me all those years.

I’m glad I get to say,
One final I’m sorry
Although it won’t change,
Everything that went wrong,
I still regret it all the same.
