Coffee Break

A red light flickers above,
There’s no one in sight,
Would you step on the gas,
Or abide the rules even when,
There’s no one around?
Just a few seconds,
That’s all you’ll lose,
Just to abide the rules,
Not much don’t you think?
But patience was never,
A trait of yours.
Flowers take time to bloom;
It takes twelve hours,
For the sun to rise,
And another twelve,
For the sun to set;
Life can take a hundred years,
Before it ends.
But you can go on ahead,
If you’re in such a hurry,
While I sit here enjoying my coffee,
As time passes by slowly.
