Scattered paper,
Jumbled words—
I started to scream,
Yet no one heard.

Put them all back,
Organize and hide—
Dry all your tears,
And smile.

Wind blows suddenly,
And again, it’s a mess—
Someone turn on the lights,
Amidst this darkness.

Water rushes in,
Tides and waves hit—
All my words trapped in a bubble,
As I fall deeper into the pit.
